Music Mentorship
The beating heart of the music mentorship is music lessons aimed at aspiring singer-songwriters. Music mentees have weekly 60-minute sessions, with attention to music theory, ear training, composition, and songwriting with their instrument of choice. During the mentorship, mentees will have the opportunity to cross-train on different instruments and get exposure to different styles. Every mentee's path will be unique and customized to their learning styles, interests, and goals. The mentorship also entails showing the student the ropes of the music industry within the Austin, TX music scene. Whether they want to perform at an open mic night in the city, learn how to network and book gigs, join a band, or learn how to write, copyright, and publish their own music - the mentees are shown the ropes for whatever they want to achieve!

Pricing
Pay-Per-Lesson: $120/50 min.
Monthly Payment Plan: $420/month for (4) 50 min. lessons/month (a $60/month savings)
Policies
Cancellation Policy: Same-day cancellations forfeit payment. Students may schedule a make-up lesson within 90 days, subject to availability.
Sick Policy: Please avoid contact if you are sick or think you may be sick (this is for in-person lessons only). Students may either attend the scheduled lesson virtually via Google Meet, or reschedule within 90 days. Notice of rescheduling due to illness must occur before the lesson start time.
Late Policy: Late arrival does not extend the scheduled lesson time. Lessons will end at their regularly scheduled time regardless of the student's arrival time. If a student has not arrived or joined the Google Meet session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and has not communicated with Benji, the lesson will be considered a no-show and the lesson fee will be forfeited. Students who know they will be late should notify Benji as soon as possible. If Benji is 15 minutes or more late to a scheduled lesson without prior communication, the student will be offered the option to reschedule the lesson at no additional charge, or receive an equivalent credit toward a future lesson.
